Greater Than Ourselves
Celebrating Victoria School’s 150th Anniversary, this book is the Old Victorians’ Association’s gift to VS — a gift of inspiring lives. We hope future Victorians will discover within these pages not only remarkable stories, but also the courage to pursue their own passion, purpose, and calling. May they find inspiration for lifelong growth, develop a deeper sense of humanity, stand on the shoulders of giants, forge their own path with conviction, and keep the Victorian spirit alive — to keep her flag unfurled.

Communities and Events

One Community. Many Shared Journeys.
The Old Victorians’ Association (OVA) helps former students stay connected with Victoria School and Victoria Junior College, along with their teachers and peers. It also supports the schools’ continued development and fosters a warm sense of community among Victorians.
The OVA does this by organising social, cultural, community, and sporting activities for its members; supporting school-related initiatives; and providing financial or other assistance to those in need within the Victorian community. The OVA champions effort and purpose, inspiring Victorians to pursue their dreams while staying connected to their heritage.
Upcoming Events

VJC 42nd College Day
The 42nd VJC College Day will take place on 31 July 2026, bringing together the Victoria Junior College community to celebrate the achievements of its students and the values that define the Victorian spirit. The occasion recognises excellence in academics, leadership, service, sports and the arts, while honouring the dedication and perseverance of students, staff and the wider college community. More than an awards ceremony, College Day is a celebration of shared pride and tradition. Alumni, parents, teachers and students will gather to reflect on the college's journey, applaud the accomplishments of the year, and reaffirm the values that continue to inspire generations of Victorians. As the college community looks ahead to new opportunities, the occasion serves as a reminder that the legacy of Victoria is carried forward through every generation.

National Day Football Carnival 2026
The National Day Football Carnival brings together Victorians, their families and the wider community for an afternoon of football, fun and fellowship in celebration of Singapore's National Day. Held at Victoria School as part of the school's 150th anniversary, the carnival embraces the spirit of the Victoria School song — "For here we've learnt and striven too, and played the sportsman's game" — celebrating the values of learning, perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship that continue to unite generations of Victorians. Designed as a family-friendly community event, the carnival welcomes alumni and prospective Victorian families. Beyond the football matches, participants can enjoy games for children, local food stalls and opportunities to reconnect with old friends while creating new memories together. More than a sporting event, the carnival reflects the Victorian spirit of Nil Sine Labore and celebrates the enduring bonds that connect the OVA community.
