The Victoria School Parents Support Group (VSPSG) would like to invite VJC parents and OVA members to join us on May 18th (Saturday) from 9:00 to 11:00.
This charity event is organized by South East CDC and 3M, where participants just have to walk up and down stairs in VS, and count the accumulated steps taken.
For every 1,000 steps, $40 worth of stationery will be donated to a child in South East CDC.
We invite all parents and families to join in this simple activity of just climbing stairs. By May 18th, the exams should have ended.
Our target is 300,000 steps.
With VJC and OVA involvement, we can easily reach 500,000 steps or even more.
Please RSVP to lkc2359@gmail.com.

Held from 12 April – 31 May 2013, the ‘3M Step-Up Challenge @ South East’ seeks to garner the community’s support to do a simple activity (i.e. stairs climbing) to raise 3M stationery products for the less privileged students residing/ studying in the district.
For every 1,000 steps the participants accumulated, 3M Singapore Pte Ltd will donate a stationery pack worth $40 to one student in need. The aim of this programme is to achieve 3,000,000 steps in exchange for 3M stationery packs for 3,000 students.
Each PSG Group is encouraged to participate in this meaningful programme by organising a mega ‘3M Step-Up Challenge’ among yourselves or co-organising a ‘3M Step-Up Challenge’ with another community partner of your choice.
The organisers of this activity are South East CDC and 3M Singapore Pte Ltd.
