V for Victoria

During the seven days long Chinese New Year holiday in China, most buildings turn off their air-conditioning, resulting in stuffy interiors that make it difficult for the workaholics to, well, work. Peh, one of the handful of Victorians in Beijing, has experienced this stuffy condition for the last three years. At the Victorians in China makan session, he brought this up and what do you know? The building was managed by one of the other Victorians, Foong, at the makan session!

We realised that we are connected in many ways. AEP, soccer, hockey, Mr Ho, Mr Santokh Singh, Mrs Lee Phui Mun, Geylang Bahru… … Well, it’s a small world.

Watch out for the next Victorians in China gathering!
