Our heartiest congratulations to Victoria School’s 2010 Secondary 4 students and teachers for the outstanding GCE ‘O’ Level results! The Class of 2010 has done as well as the previous cohort and attained an L1R5 of 10.8.

Two of our boys Muhd Amirul Haqim and Ravi Kumar Vijaya Kumar are among the top in the nation. Muhd Amirul scored 9A1s and is the Top Sec 4 Malay student in the whole of Singapore. Ravi Kumar Vijaya Kumar is one of the Top Sec 4 Indian students with 9A1s and 1A2.

We also applaud the performance of our other fine Victorians. More than 50% of our students have scored an LIR5 score of 10 points and below, with 87 students scoring a minimum of 6 A1s. Well done to the Class of 2010 and we wish all of you the best for your future!

  • Well done Victorians! Keep up the excellence in all areas be it academics or CCAs!

  • Congratulations to the Principal, Staff and Students of VS for this outstanding performance!
It is noted that a number of students from this cohort opted for the IP after their sec two education in the school. Would they have further boosted the results if these student had completed their O Level in VS? it is interesting to read in last week's Sunday Times that the top student in VS with 9A1s, Amirul, who incidentally is also the top Malay student for Singapore schools, joined VS as a Sec One student with "an average T Score of 248", as Amirul himself put it. Full credit to Amirul for his hard work and intelligence, and the school for making it possible! Nil Sine Labore

According to MOE website, Ravi Kumar scored 8A1s and 1A2, and not 9A1s and 1A2. http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/files/2011/01/g
