The Old Victorians’ Association (OVA) is on the lookout for 135 prominent individuals who celebrate the Victorian culture in their lives.
Selected nominees will be featured in a book commemorating 135 years of Victorian heritage, to be launched mid-2011 as one of the significant milestones celebrating the Victorian family’s 135th anniversary.
Nominees should reflect qualities of a “Gentleman (or Lady), Professional and a Sportsman (or woman) who makes tangible contributions to his/her family, work, community and nation”.
They should also demonstrate how Nil Sine Labore, the school motto in Latin that means “Nothing Without Labour”, is lived in their lives.
So if you have an ex-classmate, friend, colleague or family member from Victoria School (VS) or Victoria Junior College (VJC), and you think they deserve to be honoured in this publication, tell us now!
The closing date for nominations is Friday, 11 February 2011. Nomination forms are available at the VS general office or downloadable here.
Completed forms should be emailed with the subject “135 Nomination” to victoria135@ova.org.sg or via post to OVA at c/o Victoria School, 2 Siglap Link, Singapore 448880.
