OVA celebrates with the graduating cohort of VJC 2013.

As OVA Management Committee member Carol Loo’s farewell address drew to a close, the ice-cream store was already standing by.

Carol was speaking at the farewell ceremony of the graduating cohort at VJC.  An alumni herself, she drew parallels between her life then and that of the students today, and reflected on the highs and lows during her two years with the college.

Giving thanks to her tutors, she also expressed heartfelt thanks to the college for being the place where she found the man who would later become her husband.

The ice-cream treat is one of the many ways that OVA engages with the student community.  After the A-Levels examination, our future alumni can look forward to a movie screening sponsored by Paul Chung, CEO of Golden Village and an alumni himself.
