08/10/10 marked the graduation day for our class of 2010; after which, they would march towards the ‘O’ Levels to face the biggest challenge of their student career so far. As the seniors of these 396 bold young men, it’s the Old Victorians’ Association’s (OVA) mission to render encouragement and see them off to the battlefield. This year, the OVA has decided to sponsor a custom-made water bottle as a souvenir for every graduating Victorian. As the ancient Chinese saying goes 饮水思源 (Always remember the source when one consumes water), the OVA hopes that this gift would call on our boys never to forget the school that watched us grow.

During the graduation ceremony, the OVA unveiled a new membership scheme that would pave the way for the Victorian alumni to join the association at a younger age. With this new scheme, fresh school leavers from VS or VJC can join the OVA as an associate member at absolutely no cost; they can choose to upgrade to a full membership at a later stage when they have become financially independent. This sincere gesture was met with an overwhelming response; close to 95% of our 2010 graduating class has stepped forward to sign up for the OVA newsletter in order to obtain more information of the OVA associate membership.

Let us wish our class of 2010 all the best in the ‘O’ Levels – to Victory!
